CAGW Operation and Supplies Fund

Hello all! Emily and I are two moms of little ones who have a desire to build up an art community here in Wylie, TX and surrounding areas with our newly formed business the Creative Arts Guild of Wylie LLC!

We are seeking to provide art experiences for children and adults alike. This all started because in December 2016, Emily and I started talking about how we felt that there was a need, a hole, that was in our community and how we wanted to fill it, with art. In March 2017 after talking more about getting something started with our art community idea, we decided to finally act. We threw a free event called "Art in the Park" and reached out to the people of our area. With only 8 days to advertise through social media, and money out of our own pockets, we did it.  A two seperate day event at a local park that held positive feedback with nearly 75-100 people showing up for each day!
We have, so far, concentrated our efforts on outreach within our community, spreading awareness for our group with free art events. However, our ability to keep providing this service to our community is limited to what we personally can contribute. Our events are have generated such a positive response that we would love to keep the momentum going. We want to keep bringing people together to experience the world we love, the world of art. So we are asking others to join us in contribution, and so by that it can continue to grow this project to its full potential!

This summer we want to do more Art in the Parks and also host our very first Summer Arts Camps for Kids! This money we raise will go to the facility utilities, supplies, and will ensure that proper staffing needs are met.
