Dear family and friends,
My name is Amaya Williams and I'm currently a junior attending North Raleigh Christian Academy. I am so grateful to say that in the Fall of 2017 I will be attending Liberty University located in Lynchburg, Virginia on a 4 year volleyball scholarship majoring in Sports Medicine.
I have a passion for working with kids and sharing the gifts that God has blessed me with, to assist them in pursuit of their own dreams. With that being said, it warms my heart to know that through a partnership with "courts for kids", I have an opportunity to encourage other kids in the Dominican Republic. While I am there, from July 6-14, 2016, along with other volleyball players, we will build volleyball courts for the communities at large. In order to achieve this ambitious goal, I need your help! So I am appealing to family, friends, organizations, and my community to help me raise $1,700.00 by June 1, 2016 in order to meet my commitment to participate. This will be a dream come true for me, to give back to those less fortunate! What's even more exciting, the role you will play is a huge part in positively impacting the lives of kids in the Dominican Republic.
