My little sister Corina and I have a shared love for theatre- although you could say she has me beat as far as theatre cred goes. She loves theatre so much, in fact, that it's what she wants to do for a living.

My sister is an extremely dedicated, passionate, and hardworking technician. At only seventeen, she's worked more than fifteen shows (including three shows with North Carolina Theatre ) and dreams of one day becoming a stage manager.

Corina has been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in the highly competitive Theatre Arts summer program as part of the National High School Institute at Northwestern University. She's one of eight students in the whole country accepted for the Design and Tech extension of the program (I know, what an overachiever.)
While Corina has been offered partial financial aid to attend the program, we're still a bit short on money for tuition and travel.
I'm hoping to raise $2,600 by June 20th to fully cover Corina's expenses, including her flight to and from Chicago.
I couldn't be prouder of my little sister. She's becoming a truly remarkable young woman and professional, and she deserves every bit of this incredible opportunity. Even the smallest donations and spreading the word can help us get Corina to NHSI for an unforgettable summer. Thank you!
