Dear Compassionate Partners and Community,
Do you believe that #BlackLivesMatter?
Do you believe that we should teach and have more #SchoolsNotPrisons?

Do you believe that we need more #Compassionate Cops and that they should have a positive relationship with the community they serve and protect?
Then we are reaching out to you today for your urgent support of the “Compassion in Action: How do we keep it Honest & Civil?” Youth Summit, on Oct 29th and 30th, in the Los Angeles area.
At the Compassion In Action: Youth Summit (free for ages 13-25), we expect to convene 150-200 of our Los Angeles community’s youth of various racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, multicultural, religious and faiths for critical dialogue and partnership on how to become more effective compassionate leaders. The event is designed to educate, empower and encourage compassionate dialogue and collaboration between concerned youth with their community leaders at all levels, including leaders from Black Lives Matter, law enforcement, elected officials, and others.
There will be interactive educational presentations, and empowering and artistic collaborations, all while engaging in a compassionate dialogue for effective and lasting change. Our Partner Posts for Peace & Justice will be facilitating collaborative, hands-on workshops resulting in 10 completed 8 ft. “Posts” relevant to event themes, which will be exhibited and “posted” in social media.
