We are making a BIGGER movie and need a little help from our friends in the cannibis community. We have done award winning stuff before. Check some of it out BELOW.
The story is simple. It is a dark comedy about a group of misfits who are brought together to win the mother of all cannabis smoking competitions.
We would also like to add, this is NOT just another "weed" movie! With this project, we have created a buzz on awareness with the recreational and medical side of the industry, and JOBS! We need a little support from the community. Being that the subject matter is "drug" related we understand that anonymity is important to some folks. We have been asked by many to go this route so that anonymity can be had and we can reach our goals.
The money will be used for production cost in its entirety! No other way to put it. We would also like to use some money to atract some know celebs for cameo appearances. People like, Tommy Chong for example. Can't have a weed movie without Cheech or Tommy Chong or BOTH!
If you go to either our website and/or fb page, you will clearly see what we have done already with the resources we currently have available to us. We begin principal photography June 1, 2016, in Colorado Springs. Auditions were held at Loonees Comedy Corner this past April 21-23. They were a tremendous success! We have already begun shooting other trailers for the film which will be available on the site very soon.
We have some great comedic and acting talent involved from Colorado. Folks such as Rick Bryan, Jon Gonzalez, Dan Raney, Charley McMullin, Amaru, Chris Medina, and Spencer James to name a few.
For the soundtrack, we have nationally known music artists such as, Akil from Jurassic 5 fame, along with Dezert Eez, Koldlampen, Mista Woosaa, Tree, and Robert Howard aka DJ Dynamite, and many more. Did somebody say Devin the Dude?
We also have some local sponsors such as Loonees Comedy Corner and Medibles Inc right here in Colorado Springs.
So, if you wanna laugh and learn some stuff at the same time, then give us a chance. We're already planning a Part 2.
