Climb for Casa, a Colombian Orphanage
Hi! What are you doing this February break?
I am spending break climbing the Mt. Kilimanjaro - a grueling 62 kilometer climb with a height gain of almost 6 kilometers.
Now you're probably asking why I would want to attempt such a difficult task and, more importantly, why should you care? Good question.
I've committed to climbing the highest mountain in Africa to raise money for some kids in Colombia. Here they are:
These kids need our help. They are orphans at one of the many orphanages in Medellin, Colombia, and a group at ISA called, "Casa", raises money to provide better facilities to these underprivileged, abandoned children.
This is where you come in.
I am climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro as a fundraiser. Every cent you donate to sponsor my effort will go to Casa, and if I make it to the top, my parents will match your donation (up to €1000), doubling the money you donate to this cause, and giving me that much more motivation to summit.
So please give a little, it will motivate me to summit, and a help provide better future for the orphans of Medellin, Colombia.
Thank you,
Zane Petras,
10th grader at ISA,
and member of Casa, a Colombian Orphanage.
