Single mother was recently displaced due to divorce and relocated to this area. Needs heat for home! Gas bill for home $350.

Single mom with 3 under age of 5 and one 12 y.o. making minimum wage received shut off notice for electricity (3 months past due). $785

Single Mother with leg injury out of work since holidays and in recovery. Needs oil heat in home. $400

Feed Families in Crisis!
Citizens 4 Humanity is a grass roots organization of "people helping people". With referrals from local community groups and schools, we assist families in crisis with a focus on single moms and their children. Citizens 4 Humanity delivers weekend meals and weekly meals based on the circumstances. This is only made possible from community outreach efforts with donations . Every dollar goes for food purchasing. Gourmet meals are then cooked/ packaged/ delivered directly to families by our compassionate volunteers. With your help, Citizens 4 Humanity will provide service to those in our community who need it the most.
Any contribution counts towards family meals. We believe that "no act of kindness however small is wasted".

FAMILIES OF FOCUS
BROOK FAMILY
Citizens 4 Humanity was referred to two single mom families from the Hurricane Harvey area of Humble Texas who are now living together with an elderly couple (in poor health condition) and four children under the ages of 8. The house in in great disrepair. We are seeking help to find the following gently used/ new items to create a decent living environment. Both parents work for minimum wage and are unable to afford to purchase anything to help make their dilapidated house a home. Our sister branch of Citizens 4 Humanity needs our help! With the devastation in that area, there is no outside relief possible. Please help us to put this house in order. Our goal is to put the following list of items together for a truck to deliver to Texas in December and before the year ends. Please help us to help this household start the New Year with hope of a bright new future!
As you can see from this list below, the house needs all of the basics. Any additional miscellaneous / nice items would be accepted and appreciated!

VALENTIN FAMILY
This family of four girls lost their mother to cancer late last year. After a back injury from construction job, their father struggles to make minimum wage income. We are reaching out to help the Valentin's with basic necessities and clothing. In this cold weather, they are still wearing flip flops and t-shirts to school. They desperately need warm clothes, boots and coats. They are all under 16 years old and wear plus sizes. Gift certificates are best and would be greatly appreciated. Also, these girls would greatly benefit from any type of activity certificates such as dancing or fitness center. Please contact us for more information or any other ways you might be inspired to assist.
