Dear friends and family,
Cindy was diagnosed with breast cancer "“ invasive ductal carcinoma, on August 2, 2013. Since she is currently out of work and is unable to look for work right now. This means that finances are inadequate for her to fight this illness. In addition, they do not have insurance, meaning that all of the medical costs will have to come from out of pocket.
Cindy under went a double mastectomy on August 4,2013. Although there was no node involvement, cancer is in her blood and it is an invasive type that metastaticizes.
Cindy and Criss are very active members in their church. Being leaders in the Celebrate Recovery Program at their church they are constantly giving to others. They are also involved in other ministries within their church and their community as well.
They are always willing to help others and now they need your help. Please help Cindy and Criss through this rough spot in whatever way you can, every single dollar helps eliminate some of the worry and stress that they are now facing.
Stress can cause cancer : it can also hinder the healing process. Please help us help them so that she and Criss can continue helping and serving others for many years to come.
This is why I started this fundraiser : so that we can all pitch in and help alleviate the financial difficulties that they now face. I want them to be able to have the treatment she needs and to not have to worry about whether they can afford it or not.
In addition to finances, we ask that you send prayers of healing, comfort and peace to her and Criss "“ and to everyone in their family.
Please donate whatever you can. If you are unable to donate, please spread the word so that others can help her get the care she needs.
