As many of you already know, Christine Mills, the amazing Assistant Director at Winwood Children's Center in Leesburg has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (ALL).
She was admitted to George Washington Hospital in Washington, DC yesterday (9/3) and will be staying there for at the next four to six weeks as she receives treatment for this rare and aggressive form of cancer.
We have all been in shock as all of this has unfolded over the past three weeks but our families have shown immeasurable amounts of support already, for which I am grateful! As the news has been shared, most of you are wondering what you can do to help Christine and her family through this trying time.
“Christine’s Crew” is in the early stages, so we are starting with this GoFundMe page as a way to help provide Christine and her family with the items they will need in the coming days, like gas cards, groceries and maybe some help paying some of the medical bills.
