Christin Howard Support Fund

Around 7:30pm on Sunday, June 8, Christin Howard was on the Detroit Riverwalk near the Renaissance Center taking a picture with someone who recognized him from the Internet. A group of men then approached him, commented on his hair, used homophobic slurs, and threatened violence. Christin remembers that somebody said they had a gun, and video taken by a bystander then shows eight men kicking and punching Christin until he fell to the ground. The Detroit Police Department are investigating potential suspects.
