For many years, I have focused all my energy on healing others through my acupuncture and sports medicine clinic. Now I need to ask for your help while I am healing.
In December, a massage therapist tried to adjust my spine, without my permission. I suffered an injury to my occipital nerve, causing severe pain in my head and neck, and leading to debilitating sciatica. I have been working through the pain, but I can no longer continue to work without seeking treatment. I have made the difficult decision to close my clinic for a month (or more, depending on the prognosis).
Being in private practice means that I have no one to cover my clinic hours. With the loss of income from the past month of already working a much-reduced schedule, the additional time off will be devastating to my family, and I need your help. Asking for help is not an easy thing for me to do, but I know that there are so many of you--clients, friends, and colleagues--who care deeply and have asked for a way to be of help. Your support will help by allowing me time to heal. Even when I do return, I will be working a reduced schedule for the forseeable future.
Please give what you can and help spread the word. I hope to come out of this crisis on stable footing, so I can get back to spreading my healing energy to others again.
