Help 6 y/o Calogero Beat Cancer!

Dear friends and family,
We dread to share with you that 6 year old Calogero Vincent Duran has been diagnosed with having multiple masses attached to all of his vital organs. Test results confirmed the most devastating and heart-wrenching news. Calogero has Sporadic Western Hemisphere Burkitt Lymphoma.
The family has had to travel from Redding to Sacramento in order to receive treatment for Calogero. Both parents had to leave their jobs behind in order to be with their son during this time. Rose had to close down her art studio where she taught local children to express themselves in the form of art and creativity in Redding (YOUR ART [email redacted]). Angelo had to leave his job that he loved and was thriving at as well. We are asking for donations from family, friends, and the community in order to assist with the financial burden they are currently facing. The have been blessed to receive a room at the Ronald Mc Donald House for the next 30 days. We hope to raise funds to move the family’s belongings from Redding to Sacramento so they can have their comforts of home. No parent should be forced to pay such an incredible price to save the life of their child.
Calogero is truly one of the strongest 6 year olds you would ever come to know. Emulating The Hulk, he has pushed through his first rounds of blood transfusions, conquered his biopsy and now awaits results with his older brother, mom, and dad at his side. He loves art, singing, and playing with his older brother. He has had to go through many tests and procedures in a very short period of time, and he has kept his spirits up the entire time.
We have tremendous hope that with the support of family, friends, and the community, we can provide Calogero with the means to fight this battle. I am certain there will be more challenges to come, but we will fight this battle one day at a time as the Lord intended. Please keep this beautiful family in your thoughts and prayers.
On a closing note, I beg that you pray for Calogero's healing. Please pray for the strength and courage and understanding that is required of his mother Rose, father Angelo, and big brother Pops. And pray that the courage and understanding spread to all of the loved ones, friends, and family. They need this and each of you now more than ever before.
