4 Betty Toussaint: Catina's funeral

I don't know what "story" to tell when faced with creating a web page to ask folks to help bury a life loved. Do I tell you that she was a devoted Christian woman? Though I am not, it mattered greatly to her and I respect that. Do I tell about Catina (Tina) who was this spitfire kid in a wheelchair, that I met over four decades ago years after my mother and hers settled into daily life post Oakland/New Orleans Black Panther Party? Needless to say- with Spinal Bifida she was not supposed to have lived as fully as she did for as long as she did. Do I tell about how in awe I was of Catina's mother, Betty Toussaint who would carry Catina and her wheelchair up the multiple flights of stairs at my grandmother's house day, after day? Even with stories of being a bodyguard in the BPP, she was a tall but slight woman with an internal and physical strength no one anticipates. Do I tell you how Catina's mom and my mother were best friends and that they would bleed for each other? So like many of you who loved Catina or who loves Betty, I would do anything to help.  

This ask for assistance to help Betty Toussaint bury her beloved daughter, Catina IS what I can do. Please help us with as much as you can give, no matter how small. All donations will be used for a plot, casket, and other funeral expenses. Thank you.
