Castillo's abdominal surgery

What I thought would be a normal Sunday afternoon turned into my worst nightmare. As a lot of you know I have a most handsome fur baby Greyhound named Castillo that was a retired rescue. I didn't just rescue him, he rescued me. I rushed him to the vet around 3:30am on 2/20/27 where we learned he has a part of a treat lodged in his abdomen. He will undergo surgery sometime this morning and costs for that surgery being somewhere around $5500. This is a huge financial burden that I was not prepared for as I am trying to get a savings built up.  As I sit here with his toys and an empty house the only thing I can focus on is my emotional well being so the financial situation is really the least of my concerns at the moment. If any of you know my relationship with Castillo you understand what he means to me, and him and myself will greatly appreciate anything you can do for us even if it is just your prayers for a healthy recovery.
