Carter's Expo to Ecuador with Camps International

My name is Carter and I am a student at Winterbourne International Academy in Bristol. I am participating in an expedition to Ecuador in July 2020.
This will be a 4-week expedition and will include community development work, environmental projects and wildlife conservation. It will also include additional elements like trekking, scuba diving, wildlife viewing or other cultural elements.
The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to:
Raise the educational standards of developing communities within a rural district of Ecuador
Raise the living standards of developing communities, within a rural district of Ecuador
Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programmes to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats.
This expedition is extremely important to me because I feel that I will acquire and develop many important life skills.
I'm looking forward to helping communities learn for themselves, this will also teach me a lot of skills that I would probably never get to do and it'll be hands on experience for me. I'm also looking forward to being part of a completely different community than I'm use to and growing as a person. I'm nervous of leaving my home comforts and family, but I feel once I'm there I will gain a new extension to my family, and when I leave I hope that everyone that I meet along this journey becomes part of my future family. I am a typical teen and love video games, social media, internet and messing around with my friends online, so a big challenge for me will be to be cut off from what I call normal life, but I will embrace this experience and hopefully gain more respect for the simple joys this world has to offer.
The expedition costs £4200, so I'm fundraising for the full amount of the trip.
There's also a BIG kit list of which I am currently putting all my money into, from fundraising around school, asking for money for my Birthdays and Christmas, and pocket money that I receive and I am hoping this will be enough to fund the kit list.
I would be extremely grateful for any and all contributions you can make towards my fundraising.
