I am a friend of the Mooney family and have been a lacrosse coach for their boys for several years now. Their eldest son, Carson Mooney, experienced a tragic accident putting him in a coma on 7/31/16.  The trauma from the accident was more than his soul could bare.  He passed on from this life  on Sunday night, 8/7/16.  Our amazingly talented and selfless, Carson, will be greatly missed.

In true Mooney fashion, the family has requested that those who would like to show their love and support, please give, to bless the lives of others as Carson did.  The Mooney's are honoring Carson's memory by creating a Youth Lacrosse Scholarship Fund, and  donating to Break the Chain Lacrosse, http://btclax.org/.
They also plan to hold a special "Barefoot Lacrosse" event in Carson's memory, where they plan to raise money for these charities. We are asking for any help you might be able to offer to show your love and support for Carson and the Mooney family.

Carson would string Lacrosse sticks for me, and everytime I would try to pay him, he would refuse.  Claiming, "you do so much for these teams, it's the least I can do for you."  I love this young man.  I admire and respect his thoughtfulness of others.  His seflessness was contagious.  It's that spirit that we hope will live on, and bless the lives of many more people in years to come.

We thank you deeply for your donation and support!

With Love,

Jared Christensen, and the Mooney's friends and family
