Care 4 Curt Fund-Alzheimer's at 46

With the help and encouragement of friends we decided to launch a Go Fund Me Page to raise funds for Curt's care. Here is our story for those who do not know......
Curt was diagnosed with Younger Onset Alzheimer's Oct. 1st, 2010 at the age of 46! At the time he was a loved High School Social Studies teacher with 2 children, his daughter Madi was 13 and son Tyler was 15. (Tyler -21 and Madi -18 are now both in college) He and his wife Sandy taught at the same local high school.
A mere 2 months later he retired on disability from his teaching career, he felt he could no longer keep up with the demands of his teaching duties.
The disease quickly ensnared Curt, and just 4 years later he is in need of full time care.
He currently needs to be fed, dressed and have all his personal care needs taken care of by staff at his care facility.
His family was fortunate enough to have some money set aside in a retirement account that they were able to use to pay for care. Care currently costs $5,750 per month and is NOT covered by insurance. Their wondeful community and school district has also supported the family by raising funds to help with Curt's care costs.
At this point their funding runs out soon and things get rather complex in terms of funding.
Medicaid is an option Sandy is pursuing, but she would need to move Curt to a different care facility in addition to several other complications.
All money raised will be used directly to pay for Curt's ongoing care. The family can not begin to express all their appreciation for your support!
