All proceeds will benefit the Cancer Care Foundation, directly aiding families with loved ones stricken with the deadly disease.
The Cancer Care Foundation is the charitable arm of The Steinberg Winter Classic and all other events surrounding it. It is the vision and the passion of Mr. Joe Fresta, Jr., a Two-Time testicular cancer survivor. The purpose of the foundation is to aid local families who are in need of financial assistance while battling cancer, so that they can focus on beating the disease. All proceeds go directly into the hands of such families and are not used for any administrative costs, as all board members volunteer their time and services to fighting the fight.
Aid will go to assist in areas such as:
Doctor Visits
Transportation Costs To And From Chemotherapy And Radiation Treatments
Pharmaceutical Expenses
Child And/Or Sibling Care
Emotional Therapy
Nutrition Consultation
