Continue Veteran Interviews/Stories
Please help keep veteransarticle.com up and running. Any donation is greatly appreciated. The stories are a labor of love and a tribute to my Band of Brothers and Sisters, but it takes fuel, maintenance, travel expenses, supplies, food, ect., plus a minimum of 12 hours labor per completed story. Example: My first book "VETERANS: STORIES FROM AMERICA'S BEST" is offered on the website. The profit from the sell of two books gives me the capital for one more interview. And please 'share' the website and information with friends and family. Enjoy the stories.+ Read More
Just a friendly update. I sent one update, but for some reason the Facebook post kicked back. I'm not exactly an expert on computer 'stuff', but I try. I wanted to say 'thank you' to the donors who contributed in the first 3 days. I'm lucky to have such good support. The photo is yours truly behind the controls of the Memphis Belle, on the tarmac only....the owner's insurance would not cover a would-be B-17 amateur pilot pretending to be a WWII heavy bomber commander. But it's nice to dream.
Just a quick update. The response on gofundme has been remarkable thus far, and I wanted to thank each and everyone who has donated since the post went public about 3 days ago. Haven't reached the goal as of yet, but we'll get there. The attached photo is yours truly behind the controls of the Memphis Belle - on the tarmac only, the foundation's insurance would not cover a would-be B-17 amateur pilot trying to handle a WWII heavy bomber in the air. But, it's nice to dream.
