Transitional Home for Women

$850 of $35,000 goal

Raised by 4 people in 44 months
Building the Fire Within is raising money to complete the final stages of renovation for the "Carl Gordon House".  This house was donated to Building the Fire Within to assist non-violent ex-offender women and homeless women.  The house is in honor of the actor Carl Gordon.   Mr. Gordon was a board member and one of our biggest supporters.
The "Carl Gordon House" will allow women the opportunity to be productive citizens in our society.  They will receive skill training, job training, financial counseling, drug abuse counseling,  which are only a few of the services we will offer while living in a healthy environment.
Building the Fire Within has made great strides to complete this project so we may provide a support and attainable goals to women in need of help.  We are a non-profit 501C3 organization.  Please support our efforts to help homeless women.
