Brown Family Medical Fund

Marlon (former staff pastor at CCB) and Becca Brown and their 5 young kids set out from Calvary Boise for Vancouver, BC in the fall of 2014 to plant a church in the heart of the city. As an extension of our church body, we are excited to stand with them to help address this urgent need and serve them as they have so faithfully given their lives to the service of others! 

Becca was involved in a hit-and-run accident several years ago that caused serious nerve damage to her neck. While in the States she underwent several procedures and a surgery to sever a damaged nerve. The surgery was only partly successful and has resulted in continued complications and return visits to keep the pain under control. The pain is debilitating, and makes basic day-to-day tasks unmanageable at times. 

There is a procedure available that will sever the remaining damaged nerve and eliminate the pain. We are excited to be able to come along side our sister to bring peace, alleviate pain, and provide support to enable this family to continue to spread the Gospel! The money raised will go to fund the operation, travel to and from the US, as well as refill their depleted savings from hospital expenses.
