NEVER FORGOT
Our Brooke was tragically taken from us on Friday, August 9, 2013. A young, vibrant young lady all of 15 years old killed by an out of control vehicle while walking home on a paved sidewalk with a close friend, Jordyn Durr, after shopping at the Dimond Mall.
Both girls participated in ROTC and would have been entering their sophomore year in high school.
Brooke was interested in being a pilot and traveling the world. She worked for Children's Lunchbox and was always with her mom helping with volunteering for a number of different causes. Brooke had that "smile" and the maturity of an older girl who could mingle with all, young and old. She had friends galore and would welcome anyone needing a home to her home. But definitely one of her best friends was her mom, Shanna. They did everything together and had one of those mother and daughter relationships we all so treasure. Brooke came from a tightknit family who enjoyed being together and doing things together. Always loving her Dad, Gary, and teasing her brother, Brody, Brooke was known for her zest for life and her heart of gold - always caring.
This fund is being set-up in memory of Brooke with donations to go to Brooke's favorite charities and a scholarship in Brooke's name for future students.

We miss you, Brooke. You were taken far too early from this world. But may you look down upon us and guide us to be as good of an individual as you.
