On July 22, 2016 Brandon Alavarez suddenly and tragically passed away, leaving his wife Brittany and three children. He was only 29.
Brittany Alvarez completed her first year in real estate the same week her husband died. A model of hard work, ethics and optimism, she was the 2015 rookie of the year at J Philip Real Estate en route to becoming a million dollar producer as a new licensee. Despite that success, establishing a sustainable practice, facing the grief and loss, replacing his income and handling expenses, her real estate colleagues have set up this fund to help Brittany, the children --J.J., Thomas, and Fiona-- to face their future with dignity. No contribution is too small to show your support.
The fund's goal is to defray funeral and burial expenses, replace Brandon's income in the short term, and become the seed money for college for the three children. It is our belief that the real estate community is among the most sensitive and generous to our colleagues who face such a catastrophic loss. We wish to show that compassion with a successful drive for Brandon's widow Brittany, and J.J., Fiona and Thomas.
