Since we legally have to get married in the U.S., we are trying to raise funds so that Javi's Family can come to the U.S. (For the first time ever!) and be with us on the wedding day.

Rodrigo - Javi's Dad - Refrigeration technician, construction, amazing maker of pisco sour, history buff, Marlboro man of Chile. A man of few words, but a big heart. Ask him a question - he might just stare at you. Mostly because he doesn't understand what you are saying. Try again in Spanish.
Sara - Javi's younger Sister - Soccer player extraordinaire, possibly the funniest Valjalo, mother of the cutest child on earth, Gustavo. She's Javi's closest sister, also her only sister. Javi's best friend and mischief maker. She is the Valjalo most likely to start a business, and most likely to be president.
Pablo y Jani ("Hani")- Javi's Brother and Sister in Law. Pablo is a Pearl Jam aficionado, soccer buff, star wars fan, and a public servant. If you think you are a good person, talk with Pablo and you will realize, he is a way better person than you. Jani is his wife, an incredibly talented school teacher, just got her master's in education. She has the ability to deal with crazy kids all day, which is no small ability. It's a large ability. They both live in Concepcion in the south of Chile which had a huge earthquake (8.8 magnitude) in 2010. Ask them about it!
Paz - Javi's Mom. Blazingly smart - she just finished a certification in neural linguistic programming, works training sales representatives for the pharmaceutical industry. She is one of the best dancers of cueca in Chile (their national dance). Ask her to dance at the wedding!
Jorge - Javi's Step Dad. He is a great addition to the family - if you like mechanics, Jorge is your guy. He owns a chopper and likes to tour around Chile in it. Incredibly loyal, funny and perhaps the peacemaker we all need.
