Bring Dave Home!

We are a family of 5 that is missing one child in our home. This is Dave and he is living in a very temporary home in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He was taken out of his Mother's home a few months ago due to physical abuse and is now living with his Godmother who can only care for him for a few more months. As you may know, Haiti is an extremely poor country that was devastated by an earthquake in January 2010. Most of the residents in Port-au-Prince are still dealing with the after effects of the earthquakes 3.5 years later. The home that Dave is living in is crumbling and is unsafe for him to live in. This is just another reason why we need to bring him to Utah quickly.

We need to bring Dave home to Utah where he will be welcomed by his Papa, his Stepmother who is his only Mama and his younger brother and sister as well as a large and loving extended family. He belongs with us but we are a hard working family on a very strict budget and do not have the funds to file the necessary documents to legally bring him home.

In the next few months we need to raise $4,000 for his paperwork, visa, passport and the airfare to bring him home. We are asking for help for this beautiful child who needs to be with his forever family in a stable, loving, and healthy environment.
