Brewery Arts Center Is Going Green

The campus of the Brewery Arts Center is a multi-generational and multi-cultural art organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and have a positive economic impact on the community through the arts. The BAC encompasses 2 city blocks, has 3 performance facilities, the Nevada Artist Association, the , classes, camps, and artist services.
Our building, built in 1865, is an amazing structure. But it is severely out of date. Our objective this year is to evaluate all areas of our campus and see what we need to do to stop waste and reduce our footprint on the environment.
The first area that was identified is our restrooms. We have over 30 toilets on our campus. Due to our outdated plumbing our water usage and costs are high. So to fix this we would like to replace all of our toilets with low flow units. This will significantly decrease the amount of water used and lower our costs.
To accomplish this we need your help! The Brewery Arts Center is a 501(C)3 privately funded non-profit organization which operates entirely on earned income, donations and grants.
