Breakthrough's First Worship Album

Breakthrough is embarking on a new adventure. We are recording our very first worship album!

There have always been two sides to this band—the rock band and the worship band. We began as a worship team and, after a year of playing worship music by many talented artists, we felt led to strike out on what has become the most thrilling part of our lives. Writing and performing our own music.

Out of the many amazing people we have met since Breakthrough started, there is one particular group that seems to be ever-growing. This group is defined by a single oft-asked question: "When will Breakthrough pursue a worship album?" To that group, we can finally say NOW. It is time for us to step out of the boat once again and try something new with this next album.

As many of you know, Breakthrough leads worship together every Sunday. We get to play music that we love by artists that we respect and admire, but in order to stay true to our desire to give God OUR best, we are choosing to write this new album on our own. We sought the Lord's direction in writing and we know that He has been faithful to answer those prayers. We cannot wait to share these new songs with you!

We are very excited to say that we are going to be able to work with our first-choice studio (The Library in Minneapolis, MN). Matt Patrick, the owner, is a talented engineer and producer. At $60 an hour, Matt's price is more than fair. However, we still want to be able to put the most effort and hours into the recording process that we can. We have received a good deal of support and positive feedback from our fan-family over the years. As a gesture of thanks, we want to be able to present you with the best album that we can record. In order to do that, we are asking for $5000 in donations.
There is no pressure here. Every little bit buys more studio time than we had before. We are excited about this album, the writing process is finished, and it is just a matter of getting the songs recorded and out to be heard.

We thank you all for your continual love and support over the years. You mean more to us than you are aware! You’ve been there through the incredibly good times and the remarkably bad. You never gave up. We will continue to give you our best in return. Thank you for considering us.
