Help Brayden Get Into Drama School!

Hello Guys!

My name is Brayden an I have been given the opportunity to be trained on an acting course at Arts Educational Schools London ‘Arts Ed’, one of the most prestigious performing arts colleges in the country. Being given the chance to attend the school in my opinion is out of this world! They offer only 30 places for the acting course a year from two to three thousand applicants which continues to grow year upon year. There is nothing else in the world that I could see myself doing other than entertaining people by being on stage and portraying a variety of characters and this is my chance to be able to do that. The acting and performance industry is so hard to get into but with the training that the school offers and sheer hard work I am committed to,I am determined to be as successful as the names I have mentioned below as well as the hundreds of students who have graduated from the school over previous years.

Over the last two years I have been studying at Conservatoire EAST in Bury St Edmunds giving me amazing opportunities and skills that I need to progress onto this next level of education. Within my first term on the course I played a principal role in the fun up beat musical ‘Our House’ with music written by Madness. A term later I went on to play a dark, mercenary character in Martin Sherman’s play ‘Bent.’ This production required a lot of discipline within the cast, focus and an outward thinking mind; not only did it touch on the subject of homesexuals but also life throughout the holocaust. I along with eleven other student were given the opportunity to sing on stage with two jaw dropping, West End leading ladies,  Ruthie Henshall and Kerry Ellis as part of a charity fundraising gala. Conservatoire East has helped me to develop so many new skills along working on a variety of projects such as Cafe Theatre, Theatre in Education as well as most recently putting on a production of William Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ where I played the role of Prince Don Pedro of Aragon.
Con EAST has helped me get to a stage where I can progress onto a school with vast talent and opportunities, I really look forward to where the next three years will lead at Arts Ed!

Arts Ed has a high success rate with popular names graduating from the school, and whose president is Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber. The performance college is based in Chiswick, London, and offers outstanding vocational training for Musical Theatre, Acting for stage and screen, as well as producing performers that are common household names. Well known Alumni include Julie Andrews, most well known for her roles in ‘The Sound of Music’ and ‘Mary Poppins’; As well as Martin Clunes, Nigel Harman, Bonnie Langford, and most recently Finn Jones who since leaving the college has starred as Loras Tyrell in HBO series of ‘Game of Thrones’, and currently portrays the role of Danny Rand in the Netflix series of ‘Iron Fist.’

There is however a slight shortfall of what I can raise through student loans and what the school costs on a yearly basis and therefore I would be very grateful if anyone contributed towards this fundraising page. Anybody who does make a donation I am more than willing to keep them updated on any future shows that I am a part of along with any regular updates on the training that I am getting from the school.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my story and am very grateful of any donations made! X
