Brandon's Legacy for Twin Brother

Mom was pregnant with identical twins with a condition called "twin to twin transfusion syndrome". Twins shared same blood source from one placenta allowing blood to pass from one twin to the other. Twin Bryson passed on most of blood source to me, Brandon. Both fetus twins had CHF (Congested Heart Failure) & prognosis & life expectancy was poor.
Twins Brandon & Bryson were born 2 months premature on July 28, 1990. Brandon - 2 lbs 12 oz
Bryson - 1 lb 13 oz. Bryson deceased 7/28/90.
I was hospitalized approx. 3 months & discharged weighing approx 4 lbs. At 2 years old, I had a procedure done @ Queens Hospital performed by
Dr. Reddy to widen my heart valve, called valvuloplasty. I was diagnosed with pulmonary stenosis.
As years passed, my heart enlarged substantially & I now require an open heart surgery. Currently I am scheduled for open heart surgery to replace my heart valve @ Straub Hospital on August 25th. Two cardiologist surgeons will be performing my surgery, one from Hawaii & another from San Diego. Medical expenditures have been accumulating & will continue throughout my surgery & will surpass affordability for me.
My goal is to return back to surfing 3 months after surgery. Surfing is my passion & I will be looking forward to returning back into the water.
