Brady was born prematurely at thirty weeks on 7/30/2006. Shortly after we learned that he suffered some damages due to a brain hemorrhage. At one year old he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Brady is a fighter, through all the trouble and turmoil he learned how to walk. Although it was very strenuous task, only achieved with a pediatric walker and the very tip of his toes because of the muscle tightness in his legs and feet. His doctors finally recommended surgery. On the 1st of July Brady underwent five hours of surgery to have his tendons, hamstrings, and hip flexor muscles lengthened. He was in a double leg cast up to his hips with a stability bar in between his ankles for eight weeks. He is now in a full day therapy program at Akron Children's Hospital an hours drive from home. With brothers and sisters at home we have no option but to travel to and from the hospital each day, as well as juggling everyday schedules and work. Any money raised would help supplement his therapy and all other related cost. He struggles daily with all normal aspects of life without so much as a complaint. Please help our son Brady learn to walk again!
