Help Brad Battle Leukemia

Donation protected
On April 2nd, 2018 our dad, Brad Snapp, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of acute Leukemia. We were told that without immediate treatment he would live only a couple months. April 11th he was admitted to the hospital for anywhere between 30-40 days, until complete remission occurs. At that time he will be allowed home for only a short time, before he will undergo a bone marrow transplant, followed by another 3 months in a secluded living space near the hospital.

It goes without saying that this news has thrown our worlds into a complete tailspin. It has been devastating, scary, confusing, and it's all happened so incredibly fast. No one has had much time to really think about the financial crisis this is going to be for Brad and Cindy. Truth is, not very many people could live for 5-6 months on less than 1/2 their income plus a medical bill that is inestimatable.

My whole life my parents have stretched slightly beyond their means, relying on faith and frugality, to continually provide me and my brothers opportunities that allowed us to become the people we are today. We are forever indebted to them, and because of this; and like many of you, we want to do whatever we can do within our control to be there for them when life gets really, really  hard.

That time has very unexpectedly come, and we want to ask something very big of all of you. Some have known my parents since they were born, some met them when you were all young kids, some are relatives both near and far, co-workers, acquaintances, some of you are my friends, or Luke and Josh's friends. So many people have shown such support, and asked how they can help, we are truly blessed by the company we keep. We cannot say thank you enough for the sincerity we have felt.

Can we come together financially to support two of the most humbled-hearted, compassionate, generous, loving, and most genuine people we have ever come to know?

What we can say we know for sure is that cancer is awful, and it really can strike anyone at anytime. It is REALLY unfair, and it has the power to destroy a person and their family in more ways than one. You never think it will happen to you, but then one day you wake up and it's all you think about. We are all forever even more compassionate and ready to help others in our situation than ever before.

We did a little math, and if we can find 200 people who would be willing to donate $100 dollars each, we can help my parents pay the medical side of this beast. They would be blown away, and it would offer them reprieve from the daily stress and allow them to focus on my dad beating leukemia.

Whatever your finances may allow you to afford, we come full of gratitude to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
