Bogdan Ursu(Relapsed ALL)

My name is Ina and I have a 8 years old son named Bogdan. I'm a single parent as my husband died in a car accident when Bogdan was 3 years old. At 6 years old Bogdan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia that was in April 2016.We started the treatment in Moldova the country that we are from. In the first 3 months Bogdan got in remission and after this 3 months we moved in Ireland as I was working here and the technology in hospitals is better.We started the maintenance here in Ireland .The treatment here is for 3.5 years. Everything went perfect 2 years and to him left 1.5 years to finish the treatment. On the 15th of May 2018 he had an appointment in Crumlin Hospital,the hospital that we are treating, was an usual appointment for the lumbar puncture and the second day that to find out that my son relapsed while he was on treatment . It really was a shock for me...i asked to do it again because they might be wrong,we did it again and confirmed that leukemia came back and is 70% white cells. I was devastated and everything ahead of me was black .The following day the 16th of May we were admitted again in Crumlin Hospital.The second day Bogdan got the line in again.He was so happy untill we back again in hospital and he was asking me: "Why the life is so unfair with me? What I did wrong?". What can you say to your child in this situation? He blocked me...i couldn't say anything... he started the relapsed treatment straightaway and the next plan to him is the protocol of 3 months of chemotherapy after that full body radiotherapy and our bonne marrow transplant is planned in October . It's a tough journey for us that's why I started this fundraising company as I'm single parent and I'm not working and we really are in a ruthless battle....i spent all my saves and is very difficult to manage everything here as we are in a foreign country and everything is expensive .
