Birdhouse for Arthur J. E. Wren

For some time now, I've wanted to build a Birdhouse, and it’s time!
My friend, Arthur J.E. Wren, needs a place to retire and focus on his writing, but that’s a longer story.

This house, his house, will be cozy, but larger than you might expect for a wren. It is being constructed chiefly of pine, with some redwood, oak, and if possible mahogany and chestnut. There are some steel structural components in the foundation. As Authur likes to take tea with friends, and appreciates quiet space to read, his home would, we hope, be ideal for sharing these and other activities with our friends at Belden Town.
This project will be making its debut at the Priceless festival. It has been in the design stage for over a year, and is currently under construction. Arthur detests the heat, so the project is not intended for arid, alkali places. But we hope it will find its way to other green pastures like Figment, or Symbiosis.
The full finished project will cost roughly $5,752.89

Were planning to build it in 3 stages:
Stage 1 - Build and finish the structure
Stage 2 - Furnishings and personal effects
Stage 3 - Construct elevation supports
You'll note we have a wish-list. While you are welcome to chip-in $ toward purchasing wish items, we'd much rather collect donations of second hand, used and hand me downs items for our wishlist! Please share this list far and wide!
