NCSL Leadership Conference

Beta Preparatory Collegiate Academy is a new private school located in Orlando, Florida which serves an at-risk and undeserved student population. One hundred percent of our students receive state scholarships to attend this school. BPCA has selected 5 overachieving students to attend the National Conference on Student Leadership (NCSL) spring conference being held in Orlando, Florida on March 30, 2017. This 3 day prestigious program brings together outstanding high school students from around the world to participate based on academic excellence, extracurricular involvement, and demonstrated leadership potential. Students will participate in lectures and simulations that will give them a better understanding of Leadership and Success. They will attend briefings and participate in forum discussions led by National and World leaders in their chosen field.

 This experience will prepare these 5 students for college, where they plan to major in Entrepreneurship, Biochemistry, Engineering and the Culinary Arts. Leadership is one of the core principles of Beta Preparatory’s three-part mission, and we are committed to providing opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills. In recent years, NCSL students have met with representatives from ESPN and Disney, and sports writers and executives for NBC and HBO, and CBS College Sports Network.

 Your financial support, in any amount, will benefit BPCA students and make a big difference by helping them attend the National Conference on Student Leadership. The cost for the 5 students to attend the conference will be $3,500.00. This includes the program, room and board, course materials, and program activities.
