Ben's Hearts Need Your Help

You might say Ben is lucky. He has two hearts. Unfortunately, neither one of them is doing very well right now. In mid January Ben unexpectedly experienced near complete heart failure from a viral attack on his heart. Ben is now in an induced coma while the doctors work diligently to do all they can to help him. His young, 44 year old, heart is only working at 10% capacity. If it does not improve they will need to move him to a bivad (an implantable pump designed to help your heart function better when both sides of your heart are failing) with the chance to switch to an Lvad (a mechanical pump that is implanted inside a person's chest to help a weakened heart pump blood. Unlike a total artificial heart, the LVAD doesn't replace the heart. It just helps it do its job.) Ultimately, though, Ben may require a heart transplant. I know you can't donate your heart, but you can help Ben.
Ben and Ben's other heart, his beloved wife Angela, need your support. Ben is facing a best case scenario of at least three months in the hospital. Angela will be singlehandedly trying to financially maintain their home while staying by Ben's side as much as possible and working full-time. Between the usual bills and the steadily mounting medical bills, Angela and Ben face an impossible financial recovery.
Before Angela met Ben she always swore she was never getting married. Ever. That thought instantly changed when she met Ben.
Ben is a gentle giant of a husband, a huge fan of paintball, loves Angela and their dog Muppet. He's made a career out of helping people see better as an eyeglass salesman. Anything you can do to see him and Angela through this very difficult time while Ben battles for his life is so very much appreciated.
