I have been updating the "updates" section, but I wanted to also post here, a giant Thank you to everyone who has donated. We have actually reached our goal with the help of (San Diego Aussie Rescue), so if you wish to donate, anything further will go to them, as they are great people who do great things and really have helped us through this process. So again, I want to say thank you to SDAR and everyone here. You have made a difficult time much easier and have helped a really special dog live her life pain-free and happy. You guys are awesome!

This is Bella, AKA Bella-Pop, AKA Flip-Flop-Bella-Pop! We rescued Bella a few months ago and when we did, she came to us with a broken paw (broken below the wrist on all 5 bones). Bella’s paw has become infected and if her leg isn’t amputated, she could die from a bone infection. One of her loose bones is poking through her skin! As I write this, Bella is at the Animal Hospital undergoing the surgery, however it will be an expensive one and at the moment, our family cannot cover all of the costs. If you have a few bucks please help Bella out through this GoFundMe campaign.
About Bella..
Often, we would find Bella running loose on our street, and finally we just asked the owners if we could take her and they quickly said yes. Bella’s previous owners claim her injury is a result of jumping over a fence, however, we have serious doubts about that story. Nevertheless, we have decided to take her in and make the rest of her life as happy as we can. Bella is the sweetest dog. She loves to get out and see the world. She has snapped into our family as if she has always been there and we are really happy to be enriching her life. Making the decision to amputate her leg has been extremely difficult for us, but after consulting with multiple vets and K9 professionals, we believe it is the right one. We are going to do everything we can to make sure she heals well and has a great quality of life, even if it’s on three legs.
