Belize Mission Trip: Orphanage
Last July, I was blessed with the opportunity to go on my first mission trip to Belize with First Baptist Church of Frederick. I went with a great team and had the most wonderful and fulfilling time serving with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I knew that when I got back from Belize, it wouldn't be my only mission trip. I wanted more! I am eager to serve more and there isn't anything more fulfilling than being His hands and feet.
While in Belize, we worked with a wonderful missionary family. Mark and Sarah are such wonderful people and have beautiful and happy daughter, Avi. Mark, Sarah, and Avi have since relocated to Southern Belize to serve at an orphanage. When I heard of their relocation, I immediately thought about how touching it would be to serve at an orphanage.
Our church announced that not only will there be another mission trip to Belize, but it will be to Southern Belize to serve at the orphanage at the end of July.
God is calling me! I told Ben over and over that if we returned to Belize, that I had hoped and prayed that it would be to Southern Belize, to serve with Mark, Sarah, and Avi at the orphanage. Well... he answered my prayer!
I am blessed to have such wonderful family and friends that supported my first mission trip to Belize. Without my family and friends, the mission trip wouldn't have been possible. It was stressful trying to raise money but in the end, it proved to me that God will always provide.
I humbly ask for donations so I can continue to serve!
