Google Certified Innovator Travel

As you all know, I just got accepted as a Google Certified Innovator, something I have been working towards for years! I am taking a leap of faith here and have committed to going to Sydney Australia for the initial 3 day cohort, but after all the hail damage this spring, I just don't really have the $ to go. It hurts my pride to ask anyone for money to help with the cause, but I have had many people suggest I do a GoFundMe page, so here I am, asking for any help you guys can muster up to help me fulfill this goal.  

In order to become and Innovator, I had to submit a proposal with my vision for a projet that will be new and innovative to the world. As you all know, I love geology so I proposed a project where teachers can take students on virtual geology field trips using Google Maps, Earth, 360 video and Goggles (virtual reality) and be able to do some geology field work like taking strike and dip of the beds, creating geologic maps, etc.  I don't know how to do all this, but I will be given a mentor and will connect with other innovators to help me along on this year-long process. It is a huge honor to be accepted into the program, fewer than 10% that apply get accepted. I have already been turned down once and if I don't accept it this time, who knows if/ when I would get accepted again. I humbly accept anything you can offer.

 I am thrilled at the opportunity and all I will learn through the process, which will allow me to not only be able to better serve the staff at Green Mountain High School where I work, but I already have several other teachers that are interested in using what I will create in their classrooms as well. I am excited at how this could transform the way students learn about geology and hopefully inspire them to go into the Earth Sciences later in life.  

There are very few Innovators in the WORLD (best I can find is around 1300) and there are even fewer than that with Innovator and Trainer status (which I got in January). I am already the only Certified Trainer in my school district, so to add Innovator is monumental.
 
I always felt that these were for people in a life crisis, but my friends and family insisted that people would care, support and not look down on me for asking for help. Thanks for anything you can help with. 

Costs:
Plane fare: $1250 with reasonable legroom.

Hotel: $237/ night x 5 nights = $1300. I was going to share a room, but Christian reminded my of my snoring. The hotel is a bit more expensive, but is only a 5 minute walk to the Google Complex, which is needed due to my stupid foot issues :( 

Transportation/ food: $150 I know this isn't enough, but figured I could pick up the rest of the costs involved in this.
