New Uniforms for Butler HS Choirs

70 amazing voices. 70 different concert outfits. Butler High School Choirs are looking for an upgrade that some just can't afford.
Right now the policy is "wear nice looking black and white". You can imagine the results... Even after our concert last Thursday, the performance was overshadowed by the uniforms. Someone was picked on for what they were wearing, ruining their experience.
No matter how beautiful my students sing, people watching are thinking about their outfits instead. Some think "That black dress is so cute!" while others think "Why is she wearing that?" But they aren't thinking about the quality and unity of their voices, the professional way they carry themselves, or the dedication they bring to their rehearsals.
Think back to the nights or mornings that you put on your choir dress, band uniform, suit, or tuxedo. It felt special. It felt elegant. My students deserve that feeling, but for some, it is totally out of reach. Concert uniforms seem like an impossible luxury.
You can help them reach it with any small (or large) contribution. If choir or band was important to who you are now, pass along the love! One donation can make a difference for a student who can't get there by themselves. Contribute what you can. Help their look match their dedication.
