This fundraiser is run and supported by the Bay Area V-Twins motorcycle riders club in League City, Texas
Field of Dreams is an organization hosted by San Jacinto Church Deer Park, TX and is offered to anyone in the community. Field of Dreams is a baseball league made just for children with special needs. The league consists of multiple teams with about 20 children on each team. Each child is able to hit the ball off a T-mound and run all the bases with the help of a sponsor or family member, until they get back to home and score a point! Once they have gone up to bat they all get an opportunity to pitch the ball to the opposite team batting and swapping so each child gets a chance to do the activities twice. Last year over 130 children participated in the four day baseball camp which includes 2 practices, uniforms, free food on the day of the game for all participants and attendees, and a banquet with trophies for all the participants. Donations are needed to fund the stadium, food, banquet, uniforms, trophies and equipment.
We are looking for donations and sponsorships to enable as many children as possible to participate in this years’ event. All donations are tax deductible (San Jacinto Church ID# 30-0379768), and bring wonderful memories and big smiles to all the children.
