Aid the Awesomesauce Duo

Kevin (aka Awesome K) has been my best friend for 25 years. He and Genevieve (aka Saucy G) were married last October, much to the delight of everyone who knows them. Together, they form the Awesomesauce Duo.
They've both experienced some rough times, including the loss of family members and beloved pets, so they decided to drop everything, buy a motorhome, and have an adventure while the havin's good.
Their plan: To travel the US, see all the places they've wanted to see, deposit the ashes of loved ones in meaningful locales, visit friends scattered around the country, and generally make the most of life. Their grand adventure started in mid-June, and Las Vegas was their third stop.
Unfortunately for them, their stop in Vegas got an unexpected and unfortunate extension. Thanks to a bum AC in the World's Greatest RV (and a love for their remaining fur babies), they booked a hotel room and left the RV in the parking lot, as instructed by the hotel.
And, on the morning of June 27th, that parking lot was where it was sitting when it was stolen.
To the police and the dirtbags that stole it, it was merely a stolen vehicle. But it's much more than that to K&G. It was their home. It had their entire lives inside it. The vast majority of their possessions. New pots and pans and other essentials bought with the wedding money their friends and loved ones had given them for this specific purpose. An impressive movie collection. An equally impressive collection of video games and consoles (including the classic NES). The list goes on...
Worst of all, it contained the ashes of 7 beloved family members (six human + one feline).
As you can imagine, they were devastated. They'd just embarked on what was supposed to be an adventure of a lifetime, only to have it sidetracked in the worst way before it had properly begun.
The good news: The RV was found a few days later.
The bad news: It was ransacked. Drawers yanked out and emptied onto the floor. Cabinet doors ripped off the hinges. Furniture tossed around. They expected their valuables to be gone, and they were--everything of value was taken or destroyed--but they hadn't expected to have their home so thoroughly violated.
And to add insult to injury, the callous douchecanoes (Am I allowed to say douchecanoes on GoFundMe? We're about to find out.) took each and every box containing their loved ones' ashes--specifically labelled with names and dates of death, mind you--and up-ended them all. Just tossed them around like they were revellers at Holi.
Personally, I'd like to raise money for a squad of ninja assassins to hunt down the people who did this, but apparently using GoFundMe money in that manner is frowned upon.
So what I'd like to do is this: buoy their spirits with the kindness of strangers, after some strangers of a different breed torpedoed them.
I want them to continue their grand adventure knowing that the good guys outnumber the bad.
I have no idea how much they need. No idea how much it'll take to get the RV back up and running and not looking like a flop house. No idea how much it'll cost to replace what was stolen or broken. No idea how much they'll spend on hotel rooms and food while they're stuck in Vegas.
All I know for sure is that they can use all the help they can get. And I know that, no matter how much is raised for them, it won't put those ashes back where they belong.
So if you've got some money to spare, please help get their adventure back on track. And if there's any money left over, maybe I'll look into those ninjas.
I'm joking, of course. Probably.
(Ok, definitely. But if I end up collecting too much money--that'd be a nice "problem" to have--I'll donate the overage to a different GoFundMe campaign.)
Thank you to whoever contributes!
P.S. If you're curious about them and the adventure that I very much hope will continue, check them out at https://awesomesauceadventure.com/
