Crawl for Archer.

Archer is trying raise money for his school, Nisley Elementary, to get a playground that is handicap accessible. Archer was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and is bound to a wheelchair. Archer loves school, but recess is different. Instead of going out to play with his friends, Archer is only able to watch, alone in his chair, from only where the blacktop will allow him to go. He’s a smart kid, and does understand he’s not like other children. What he doesn’t understand though is why he is able to go to school like everyone else, but not allowed to play like everyone else.

Because of this, Nisley is excited to announce the Nisley Playground Project. We want YOU to be a part of it!

Archer and our many special-needs students will benefit from the Nisley Playground Project, which is raising money to provide a safer, more fun, and more accessible playground for all students. The first phase of the Project will include removing old structures (some as old as 1958) and replacing them with all-inclusive pieces, along with sensory games for children with limited mobility.

The cost of improvements for the first phase is estimated to be $130,000. The Nisley Playground Project, sponsored by the Nisley Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), is pursuing community grants but with your help, we can get them the playground every child can use.

We ask you to share the #ArcherCrawl story and donate to give all children a playground that can include everyone. Thank you so much.
