Our family suffered a tragic and sudden loss on January 11th 2017, Anthony V. Tierney Sr. (37)  a father of a 6 year old boy Anthony V. Tierney Jr. ( Little Anthony).

We need your help with raising money for his son's future.

Anthony Sr. lived a tough short life, since the young age of 7 years old he suffered from many health issues due to his rare condition Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (Classic Type, severe), and as a result Anthony Sr. has undergone surgery more than 25 times on various parts of his body. Anthony Sr. lived a painful life with hardware throughout his body/spine and has depended on the use of  canes, crutches, casts, splints and braces the entirety of his life. Anthony was passionate about carpentry and wanted one day to be able to follow in his step-father's footsteps but was never able to fulfill his dreams, working became impossible with the pain he endured.

Anthony Sr. was always passionate about learning and was excited to teach people new things as he did so many years with his youngest sibling (17 years younger) when it came to cooking, guitar, social studies, fishing, and science. When his son Anthony Jr. was born, on his 31st birthday May 18th 2010, Anthony Sr. found happiness for the first time in a while in his life, he was passionate about teaching his son, and together shared many interests such as their love for Star Wars.

Anthony Sr.'s Mother, Barbara Malone, raised his son the majority of his life because of medical issues restricting him from living a normal life, and now today Barbara will continue to raise and care for Anthony Jr.

Anthony Jr. is a bright young boy who has a real passion for learning just like his father and is involved in many extracurriculars such as Tai Kwon Do.

Although he is only 6 years old, he understands that death is permanent and is heart broken with the death of his father. Anthony Jr. is now only left with the memories of his father, at such a young age.

We are heartbroken with the loss of Anthony Sr. a beloved member of our family, and our mourning has just begun- we are still awaiting his autopsy report and will hopefully find some closure in due time.

It would mean a great deal to our family to be able to thoroughly raise Little Anthony and be able to set a bright future for him.
