Anthony's Medical Fund

Our son and brother, Anthony, is scheduled for a very serious neck surgery in June . Anthony was diagnosed with spinal myelopathy of the cervical spine. It's similar to spinal stensosis, which is more commonly diagnosed, and you may know someone who has had surgery to treat it, and recovered very quickly.

Anthony's case is quite severe, requiring the surgeon to enter from both the front and the back of his neck and weld metal plates to both the front and back of his spine. A typical recovery time for this surgery is 3 months, but the surgeon is estimating that Anthony will need 6-9 months recovery time.

If you know Anthony then you know he has been a hard working skilled laborer, focusing on general contracting, carpentry and landscaping for his entire career. His livelihood depends on his physical health and mobility, and as a result of this surgery, he will be without both for an extended period of time.

Anthony is very proud and would hate that we are asking publicly for help, but we believe that you must first ask before your prayers can be answered, and so we ask you, dear friends and family, to pitch in what you can to ensure that we can take care of Anthony during his recovery.
