Rest in peace, Momma!!!

I rarely ask for anything, so this is new to me and my pride....To begin, my Mother, Ann, is very ill. We're trying to get to her 3 hours away. I'm a single Mother of 2 beautiful girls. I'm living with a broken body and a very low, fixed income. My vehicle is in dire need of repair, however we were blessed by an amazing friend who is willing to loan us her car. The problem is filling it with gas. She's 3 hours from us and the hospital is another hour from her home. Mom has diabetes that has slowly robbed her of everything we hold dear. Shes lost her independence, mobility, sight, and the ability to enjoy retirement with her husband of 30 years. She is now in stage 4 renal failure requiring dialysis. CRF has made her so very sick. She also has a myriad of other health issues, mostly direct results of the diabetes reeking its havoc. The renal CRF has made her very sick. It's caused extreme fluid build up around all her organs. Her heart may be the most affected requiring yet another surgery. She has so many other health issues, mostly a direct result of diabetes. She's going through so many new, unexpected trials. Each day seems to bring new trouble that's so taxing on her body, both physically and emotionally . When shes not under sedation she's incoherent, lethargic, unsteady, and generally disoriented. We're told she is being treated on a day by day basis and anything more is unknown. This could quite possibly our last opportunity to see her. I would love nothing more than to be by her side with her grand-daughters, holding her hand.
