Our family has been impacted by devastating actions that are no fault of our own and we are simply trying to get back on our feet. There is an additional need to ease some of the financial burdens that are directly related.
As anyone may or may not know, we are attempting the long and difficult journey to simply rebuild our lives. Although there are many steps to take while on this journey, I do believe it is possible to restore emotional, physical health & stability, families, friends, church, school, jobs, community and financial security.
My son was born with a rare congenital heart condition and prognosis is unknown. Presently he has having recurring complications and there is no cure.
It all began on May 21, 2012 , Kevin suffered a heart attack at school during PE as result of an overlooked rare congenital heart condition, AAOCA: Anomalous Aortic Origin of a Coronary Artery. In other words, his right coronary artery was raveled, wrapped around his heart and on the left side of his heart.
On July 3, 2012 Kevin had corrective open heart surgery because his coronary artery was restricting oxygen thus his heart attack. His right coronary artery had to be dissected from the left side of his heart and re implanted to the right side of his heart. Kevin's condition is typically found in post mortem teens.
