Angel is stepping out on FAITH

We are extremely excited that Angel, our 12 year old 7th grader has decided to enter the Delta SIgma Theta Sorority, "Junior Miss Crimson & Cream" Pageant. This pageant has assisted the youth in developing positive image building, enhancing cultural enrichment, health and wellness, leadership development,and academic excellence. In addition to providing scholarships to participants, stimulating support for the youth and creating more community outreach initiatives.

We, her parents, are enthused because this program is parallel to what Angel, our daughter has overcome. She persevered through her academic challenges, special education classification, to be placed into mainstream classes. She was able to accomplish this by working hard and being focused on a goal. As a result, she passed her Virginia State standardized test for the very first time. In like manner she has also made honor roll. As she continues to tackle these obstacles, she's gaining more confidence.  Angels involvement with this program will greatly enhance her academically, socially, morally and personally. This program is made possible by individuals like you, through advertisements, patrons, donations and ticket sales.

Please consider making a donation of any monetary amount, it will assist her and other children within the communities to develop and implement new educational learning styles and create a better environment; and create a better means for their  future and college education.
