Send our Amaya to Carnegie Hall!

Our granddaughter, Amaya, was for many years, an aspiring ballerina. She was lucky enough (and talented enough) to study on scholarship at the Ballet School of Ithaca for several years.
     But recently her interests have turned toward singing. She's so good, that her middle school music teacher nominated her to be part of the annual, prestigious Middle School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall!
     Well, she submitted an audio recording and, Ta-DAA!!  She was accepted! That was the easy part.
Now we have to raise the money, and we need your help.
The program cost is $1896, which includes hotel, the training from world class choral conductors, tickets to a Broadway musical, ground transportation, etc. But it doesn't include airfare from Albuquerque to New York City, meals and other expenses.
     So, we are humbly -- and proudly-- asking you to help Amaya get to Carnegie Hall. If we can raise the $2500 for the Honors Program and airfare, Amaya will make it to Carnegie Hall June 20-24. 
     Our deadline for the next $500 installment is rapidly approaching, so please help as soon as you can!
