Delveen

Dear brothers and sisters, I hope this message finds you in a state of good health and strong faith. I wanted to share a tragedy that recently took place. Delveen Younis lost her loving husband Ahsan on Friday Sept 14, 2018. Ahsan left a legacy behind, with two beautiful kids. As we encounter other people’s life situations and tragedies, we must never have the notion, "this can never happen to me". We must always think "this can be me or anyone that I know". Delveen and her kids will have to start from scratch. She and her kids will have to learn new coping mechanism with trial and error. As we all know kids crave for normalcy. Indeed it will be a healing process and we,  as a community must help each other. I think we can all agree no bandage can heal the circumference of their wound. However,  knowing there are caring people out there, when you are at your most vulnerable stages of life, gives a person a sign of comfort. With that being said, let’s all help Delveen and her kids back on their feet. I pray that our Creator forgives us , has mercy on us, and extends his peace and blessings to our loved ones.
