A Helping Hand

Hello I am Jeffrey benfield. I am the boyfriend of Kevin’s  oldest daughter,Jessica seppelt, who is one of three.Kevin seppelt, is a father to 3 children,a husband, a brother and son. For 20 years he has worked in ups doing it work. He has always been very involved with his community. Growing up he was always involved in all of his daughters  dance school recitals,volunteering his time to put a smile on children’s faces as Santa for the port reading fire department and many dance shows for the European School of Dance. He has also participated in the ghost walk as photographer for the last six years. Kevin  has also been a football coach to the Iselin giants,Colonia patriots,and the port reading saints. He has spent his life doing everything in his power to make sure my girlfriend and her siblings have everything their hearts desired. Until 2 years ago when he was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer at 49 years old. After 50 or more chemo treatments And 2 radiation seedings he has developed liver disease.For the last two weeks Kevin has been hospitalized with a blood infection,chemo complications and c diff which has left his body frail and added to his long battle. Over the last 2 years the battle to cancer has put their family into piles of medical bills. In the near future  Kevin may be put into a rehab to help him be able to regain the muscle strength to walk and stand on his own. He is a great father and husband,a kind man and would do anything for his family and loved ones. I would like to be able to give them the help that they need in their time of emotional and financial struggles. His fight is our fight.
